A huge congratulations to Todd Doyle and the whole Tracwell Motor Body Builders team on winning the National Modified Production Title at Avalon last night.  Doyle qualified in pole after the 4 rounds of heats with defending champion Justin Drew starting outside him.  Doyle did not have it all his own way during the 40 laps and at one stage had slipped back into third place, with 10 laps to however, Doyle got the gap and regained the lead and led all the way to the chequer.

Doyle was only one of three Qlders to qualify for the Feature race – Aidan Raymont having his first run in a National Title and seasoned campaigner Mark Ferguson also took part.  Whilst running in 5th place Raymont suffered 2 flat tyres and retired to the infield to take no further part.  Ferguson also was unable to finish to distance due to mechanical problems.

Team owners Trevor and Leslie Rachow are deserved winners of this event having always presented a professional race team on every occasion the car races.
