Speedway Australia wishes to advise that Simpson Safety Equipment Australia has been granted approval to recertify Safety Solutions / Simpson R3 and Hybrid Head and Neck Restraint units to SFI 38.1 criteria.

Simpson Safety Equipment Australia is currently awaiting fresh labels and the necessary replacement parts, expected to be delivered within the next 2 weeks, in order to start processing those Australian and New Zealand competitors whom this affects.

It is envisaged that older units will require Tether replacement at minimum for a new conformance label to be applied.
