2012 Modified Sedan National Title Date Change Mildura

Speedway Sedans Australia have announced that the Australian Modified Sedan Title has been moved forward one day, so not to clash with two other major motorsport events being held in Mildura on the same weekend.

With the late announcement of a replacement for the Title originally scheduled for South Australia, Mildura were appointed the title in early June.

Negotiations between the Mildura Club and Speedway Sedans Australia about a slight change of date developed early this week, after requests by the Mildura Council, and other relevant sporting groups, to avoid a total clash of events.

The final round of heats and the Finals will still be held on Easter Sunday night.

The new schedule is now as follows:

Thursday, 5th April 2012 – Scrutineering
Thursday, 5th April 2012 – Practice
Friday, 6th April 2012 – Qualifying Heats (Good Friday)
Sunday, 8th April 2012 – Final Round of Heats and A,B,C Mains

Speedway Sedans Australia apologise for the change, but considerable pressure from other organisations and Council led to the change.
