Tonight I spoke with Graham Shallcross, President of Bundaberg Speedway Sedan Club. Graham reports that no rain of any consequence has fallen in Bundaberg since early Wednesday morning. Graham is confident at this stage that the weather will continue in much the same vein, cloudy but fine. Two scratchings have been notified to officials for the Title event. Ed Pearson has sold his XF Falcon and has decided to deliver it in pristine condition rather than race it this weekend and Myles Gilroy from Mackay has work committments which will prevent him from travelling to Bundaberg this week. Both these drivers expressed their disappointment at not being able to return for the re-scheduled meeting.
