Summary of Successful Motions – Updated 19/08/07

Last weekend at the General Meeting held at the Chermside Bowls Club in Brisbane the following motions were successfuly presented and passed through the meeting. 

  • A voted representative from each Division to be invited to join the QSCA Technical Committee.  (No need to be a registered Scrutineer to qualify)
  • A voted representative from each Division to be invited to join the QSCA Stewards Committee. (Must be a registered Steward to qualify)
  • Mirrors in all QSCA classes are NOT allowed.  Effective as of 4/08/07.
  • Optional Boot spoiler for Street Sedans permitted.  Effective as of 4/08/07 – maximum height to be determined by Technical Committe.
  • Front and rear bumper bars on all QSCA registered cars to be covered by suitable plastic bumper bar.  Previously registered cars by 01/01/08 and new registered cars from 04/08/07.
  • QSCA Spec book, Super Street Sedans, page 45 #7 – to include – Must be supplied by a commercial outlet through a multi-volume network via bowser pump.  Shell, BP, Caltex, Mobil. Exception AV Gas.

As from the receipt of the new Australian Speedway Racing Rules book issued by NASR for use in all speedway divisions, all racing will be conducted under these rules.

It is highly recommended that competitors purchase a One Way Communicator for their use.  A One Way Communicator is mandatory at all State and National Titles from the beginning of the 2007/08 season.

Please refer to the new safety specifications for race gear listed on this website and on the NASR website, some is applicable immediately, some is not applicable until July 2008 and some item changes do not affect all divisions.
