With the start of the new season just five weeks away, the Super Sedan Association has finalised their sponsor roster for the 2006/2007 season and is pleased to announce the return of all existing sponsors in addition to the procurement of some new corporate partners.
Gold Coast-based company A.S. Concrete Pumping Service has procured naming rights sponsorship of the 2006/2007 Super Sedan Association Championship Series. Managing Director John McGeorge is one of Queensland’s leading Super Sedan drivers, is a former national champion and was a key figure in the establishment of the Super Sedan Association more than 10 years ago. Since then, McGeorge has been a strong supporter of the SSA in a variety of ways and has now expanded that support with naming rights sponsorship of Australia’s most prestigious regional Super Sedan competition for the 2006/2007 season.
Meanwhile, the Super Sedan Association’s second-tier development series will be sponsored by Ian Boettcher Nissan in 2006/2007. Located at Ipswich, Ian Boettcher Nissan is Queensland’s leading Nissan retailer, having won the Nissan Sales Dealer of the Year for the last seven years. This series was designed to assist new competitors to the category, low budget drivers and occasional racers by providing them with opportunities to go racing without the pressure of racing at the elite level. The Ian Boettcher Nissan Super Sedan Series will comprise eight rounds of competition, with each event to be run in conjunction with a round of the SSA Championship.
