The speedway season got underway in Queensland last Saturday with a race meeting to support Kingaroy’s Peanut Festival being held at the Kingaroy Showgrounds. A huge display of fireworks capped off a great nights racing. Being early in the season the car numbers were a little down on normal but the quality of racing was impressive by all. Feature Race winners were:
East Coast A Grade Title – Nathan MacDonald, Shane Hollyman, Peter Campbell
Street Sedans Div 1 – Michael Roza, Brian Francis, Doug Rigby
Street Sedans Div 11 – Matt Rigby, Ashley Ekins, Ben Griffiths
ASCF Junior Sedans – Charlie Brown, Justin Smith, Nicholas O’Keeffe
