Last Saturday night the South Burnett Speedway Club hosted the 2006/07 State title for these flying machines. Spectators could be forgiven for mistaking these competitive drivers for seniors not juniors from the age of 10 to 17 years. The sport is in good hands when these juniors move through the ranks to the senior divisions as they get older.
Many interstate competitors stayed on in Qld and holidayed last week so they could take part in the Qld Junior Sedan Title. Kyle Spicer from West Aussie may have given up his National crown just one week earlier but was pleased with his spoil to take home the Qld Title. Kyle is now preparing to defend his West Aus title after the long trek back across the Nullabor.
