Practice Nights
24/08/10…Pam Franz
Everyone is reminded that Practice sessions and race meetings have the same requirements in all aspects.
Cars must be registered, drivers/passengers must hold current Insurance and a current Licence for the relevant division.
Process to obtain a registered car – a car is to be inspected by a registered scurtineer, a daylight machinery sheet is to be completed, an application is to be completed and forwarded to the QSCA Licencing Office complete with fees (either direct or via your club) – daylight inspection is observed by the State Technical Officer and upon acceptance/clearance the car will be ready for registration. For Street Sedans and Super Streets the Log Book continues from year to year and needs to be returned to enable the car registration process to be completed and returned to your Club. Modified Production, Super Sedans and Junior Sedans are issued with a new Log Book each season.
YOUR CAR IS NOT DEEMED REGISTERED UNTIL YOUR HAVE YOUR NEW LOG BOOK OR NEWLY DATED LOG BOOK IN YOUR POSSESSION AND THE FIRST 5 PAGES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED AND THE REGISTRATION DECAL IS ATTACHED TO YOUR CAR.
This process has been in place for more than 20 years and is no different this year to any other year.
