Also from the Committee of Management Meeting held today – any QSCA registered competitor attending any race meeting without plastic bumper bars covering the steel bumper bars WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RACE – NO EXCEPTIONS. Effective immediately.
This was first introduced for Street Sedans and Super Street Sedans in early August 2007 with a phase in period to 1st January 2008 – some allowances have been accepted to date at club race meetings to help the car numbers but will no longer be acceptable. Please ensure that your car is fitted with plastic bumpers covering the whole of your steel bumper bars. It is also a requirement that these bumpers are snug fitting to the bodyline of your car.
