The following correspondence has been received from Aussie Trackwear of interest to all competitors in regards to the new requirements that your safety gear must meet.

Dear Competitors,

As of July 1st 2008 NASR will be enforcing safety apparel standards as per the class specification manual.

There has been some confusion as to whether Aussie Trackwear racesuits comply to these standards (SFI 3.2A/1 or SFI 3.2A/5 ) so we have put together a directive.

Suits made from Feburary 2007 until now are able to be re-certified if the garment meets conditions listed below.

1.      In new condition (No rips tears holes, No Burn marks or stains)
2.      New condition.
3.      This would be assessed on a case by case basis taking into consideration the condition and age of the suit.
4.      A cost of $15.00 any item needing to be retagged plus postage or freight.

Aussie Trackwear can only re-certify suits that could have been certified when manufactured. If you have any concerns please ring Aussie Trackwear direct,
