A quality field of 16 Modified Production drivers were at Lismore to provide the support racing to the 50 Lapper Round 1 V8 Dirt Modified series. Most Modified Production drivers used this night as a chance to sort any handling changes needing to be made in preparation for the HDS Series Round 4 to be held on 6th January at the same track. Although Modified Productions were only scheduled to compete in 3 seperate heats during the night each driver had 2 heat runs. Racing was entertaining and competitive. The 25 lap Feature was won by local hero Jason Jolley followed by Mark Ferguson, Garry Maroske, Steve Price and Allan Irwin.
More than 35 cars are expected in Lismore on 6th January for Round 4 of the HDS Series with racing scheduled to begin no later than 5pm Daylight Saving Time (4pm Qld time).
