Maryborough Speedway will burst back into action for the final time for 2008 on Saturday night with a huge night of speedway including V8 Sprintcars, Modified Production Sedans and Junior Sedans.
The Modified Production drivers are keen to rack up some more points in their Fraser Coast Series which is a 3 round mini series. Garry Maroske in the fire breathing Mazda RX7 is the points leader after round 1 back in September.
Freshly returned from back to back NSW State Modified Production Title wins is the very fast Blackburn Performance Engines Cortina piloted by Steve Price.
21 other Modified Production drivers will be determined to change the results in their favour tomorrow night.
22 Junior Sedans will provide lots of exciting support for both the Modified Productions and the V8 Sprintcars, showing everyone how it is done when you are not old enough to hold a licence to drive on the road!! For some of these Junior stars it will be their last run prior to attending the National Junior Sedan Title at Mildura in mid January 2009. 96 nominations have been accepted for the Mildura event – a site to be seen no doubt.
Racing will get underway at 4pm sharp to ensure a full nights racing is complete for all divisions.
