On Sunday 22nd June the Committee Of Management held their regular meeting.  A full report can be found in the COM Reports folder on this website.  It was noted that the workload of both the Administration Secretary and the Treasurer has grown over the years and it would seem pertinent to share some of the workload with other members of the Committee of Management.  Some decisions of note are as follows:

The position of Title Co-Ordinator has been placed on the role of Vice President – in the future all things relating to Titles will be handled by the role of Vice President currently held by Jim Cowley – Jim can be contacted via email – titles@qsca.com.au or on mobile at 0408 060 078.

Contact will be made with Speedway Sedans Australia as it seemed that not all our members have received a printed copy of the current Tek Torque.

Due to the small amount of Agenda Items received for the August Conference – a decision was made to reduce this to a 1 Day meeting – to be held on Saturday 2nd August at Maryborough RSL Club from 9am.

It was decided to introduce annual Driver Awards for both Junior Sedans and Junior Street Sedans beginning from the 2007/08 season just completed.  The date for lodgement of these nominations for these Awards will be extended to allow time for Clubs to be notified and lodge their nominations in time for the August Conference.

The future of fuel testing was discussed.  It was decided that in coming seasons the State Technical reps will carry out random fuel sampling using both the Digitron or by sample to Deacon University.

Members of the Management Committee have been invited to attend a race meeting in Cairns as a lead up to their holding State Modified Production Title in June 2009.  It is envisaged that Bill Peall and Paul Gannon will attend a race meting in Cairns in September/October 2008.
