Upgrading work has already commenced at the Kingaroy Showgrounds, the home of speedway in Kingaroy.  With the new fence upgrades and new catch fence this will enable all divisions to run at the treelined picturesque Kingaroy Showgrounds complex. The South Burnett Speedway Club are very excited with these upgrades which include a new surface to be laid down. Kingaroy Fence 2

The track will be complete with a transponder loop being installed whilst construction work is happening.  Plans are to have all work completed by the first scheduled race meeting the 6th of November.

South Burnett Speedway Club is counting on strong support from their members to help see this project through to completion. If you are available and would like to offer your assistance  please don’t hesitate to phone our new president Ashley Barron    (0438326217)  as many workers are required to help complete this project.  There will be various jobs and times where people will be required to help  mid week, before and after work, and weekends.

South Burnett members are reminded of the Daylight Machinery Inspection day being held this Sunday 25th July at the Showgrounds being held in conjunction with the fence works.
