The Hydraulic Drilling Services Modified Production Series is now entering its second season with plans of building on the success of its first. The 2005/2006 series saw no less than 35 cars compete at each of the 6 rounds of the series.
It is anticipated that the 2006/2007 season series will attract even bigger car numbers to each of the rounds. The organisers of the series are confident of a 7 round series this coming season, with the following dates being confirmed -
18 November – Brisbane
25 November – Kingaroy
9 December – Gympie
26/27 January – Rockhampton
24 February – Maryborough
10 March – Charlton (Toowoomba)
A Lismore date is still to be confirmed
Points are accumulated at each of these rounds with the series winner being announced at the final round. Hydraulic Drilling Services prize money will be paid to the top 10 placings at the completion of the series. A further prize pool is distributed to all drivers who competed at all of the rounds thanks to the many generous sponsors of the series.
