Scrutineering will take place on Saturday morning 9th June away from the speedway track. Scrutineering will be held at Lake Alford on the Light Horse Oval, Bruce Highway (main road into Gympie) From the south – at the northern end of the park on the right past the Caltex 24 Hour Servo and before the Fox Glenn Motel. From the north – at the northern end of the park just past the Fox Glenn Motel on left. LOOK FOR THE TENT AND THE ACTIVITY!!! A food van will be available during scrutineering.
Scrutineering will be from 9am to 12.30pm. Late arrivals after this time will need to contact Bill Peall on 0407 791 449 or Terese Lange on 0419 733 299 to ensure that you are included in the Draw which will be done immediately after scrutineering closes at 12.30pm.
A Practice Night will be held for nominated Modified Production drivers only on Friday 8th June from 6pm to 8.30pm. Gates open from 4.30pm. $5 per adult, Children Free. Basic Canteen and Bar will be operate.
At the conclusion of the Practice Night there will be a drivers Calcutta held at the Canteen area of the speedway track. Come along meet and socialise with the drivers and crews and buy your favourite driver for the weekend.
Breakfast will be available at the speedway track on both Saturday and Sunday mornings for those requiring it from 8am to 9am.
Limited camping is available at the speedway track with hot and cold showers available.
The Gympie Saloon Car Club invite all interested persons to attend any or all of these activities to do with the Defence Jobs Qld Modified Production Title on 9/10 June.
